On the morning of October 29th, at the 7th Hubei Entrepreneurs Conference, Cheng A'luo, Chairman of Chengli Automobile Group Co., Ltd., revealed to reporters from Changjiang Cloud News that Chengli has launched two major investment projects in Hubei this year: a super factory project with a total investment of several billion yuan and a new energy heavy truck project of over 2 billion yuan, which are expected to generate over 10 billion yuan in new output value. He stated that in the future, Chengli will continue to increase its investment in Suizhou and other areas, contributing to Hubei's goal of building a trillion-yuan-level automotive industry cluster.
In the field of technological innovation, Chengli has achieved a new breakthrough in intelligent driving. The first batch of intelligent driving vehicles has been deployed in Yizhuang, Beijing, marking the company's official entry into the commercial application stage of autonomous driving.
The foreign trade sector has also performed exceptionally well. This year, Chengli expects its total exports to exceed US$200 million, representing a 25% year-on-year increase. It has established KD (knock-down assembly) factories in five countries, including Malaysia and Kazakhstan, and has built a warehousing network in more than ten bonded zones. Cheng A'luo specifically mentioned that the "shopkeeper-style" service and support from the Hubei Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government, including policies and measures such as support for overseas expansion and financial subsidies, deeply moved him and gave the company more confidence to strengthen overseas exports. "The continuous optimization of the business environment gives us even more confidence to expand into overseas markets," Cheng A'luo said. He added that in the future, the company will leverage its global layout advantages to strive for a sustained annual export growth of over 30%.
